the pages of each of our regional books at left, and the F.A.Q. section
below, and then Contact us!
Our Guarantee
We're confident you will enjoy your Scannerstuff publication. If you
buy a book directly from Scannerstuff LLC (through this website) and are
not completely satisfied with it, let us know within 30 days of your
purchase and we'll buy it back! Just Contact
us. All you will need to do is mail the book back to us (at your
expense). Once we receive the returned book, we will refund your
entire purchase price, less any shipping charge you paid
when you ordered the book. Other local or online retailers' policies vary.
Product Support After Your Purchase
Having trouble finding something in one of our publications? Notice
erroneous information and seeking corrected information? Check our Updates
page and then Contact us!
But remember, our books and Updates webpage include all the
information we have. We appreciate additions and corrections to the
information we have provided in our books and on the Updates
webpage, and may be able to provide you with the correct information
for a "typo" you spot. But if something you are looking for is
entirely missing from our books and website, that indicates we do
not have the information at this time.
Trouble Using Our Information With Your Scanner?
Step-by-step instructions for programming radio scanners vary by
model. If you have trouble programming your scanner using
information you found in a book you purchased from us, please
double-check the steps you followed in your user manual and then Contact
us. We'll be glad to help as best we can or direct you to
additional, model-specific help.
Have Updated or Additional Information to Contribute?
Contact us! Much of
the information in our publications initially comes to us from
customers and scanner listeners or public safety radio
professionals. We would love to hear your feedback on our books.
Tell us what you feel is missing or outdated, and share any
information you may have that our books do not.
If you send us useful information for the next edition of one of
our publications, make sure to let us know if we can add your name
to our Contributor's list in the book. It's entirely up to you, but
we're going to ask anyway!

How Do I Place an Order?
Placing an order with Scannerstuff LLC is easy. There's no need to create
an account first, although you may create an account if you wish to
access order details or easily retrieve delivery details for your
next order. To order an item, click the "Add to
Cart" button on the item's product detail page and follow the
instructions in the window that opens. You can access
the contents of your Shopping Cart at any time by clicking the Shopping Cart icon at the top
of every page of our Web site.
What are my Shipping Options?
Because the method we use to ship various items
differs, shipping costs and delivery times for a particular product
are described on that product's detail page and in the shopping cart
pages during your order process. Consider how quickly
you would like to receive your order, and choose a shipping method
based on the stated delivery estimate. But remember, the estimated
number of days required for delivery is just that: an estimate. To
keep our prices low, we generally use the United States Postal
Service (mail) to deliver our books. Although we will promptly ship
out a replacement book if your order is significantly late, we
cannot guarantee delivery dates. Also, please note that the
estimated delivery timeframe counts mail days (i.e. excluding Sunday
and holidays) from the day your order is shipped, which is generally
within one business day of the time your order is placed. What Forms of Payment Does Scannerstuff Accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card,
American Express and PayPal. Through PayPal, you can also pay online by check from your checking
account using eCheck. We also accept orders by mail using a
check or money order. To place a mail order,
simply add your items to your shopping cart on select "check" as
your payment method during the checkout process. You will be
provided with a completed order form to mail to us along with your
check. If you have any questions about ordering or payment methods please contact
us!
Do you offer Quantity Discounts?
Please contact
us for information on discounts on quantities of five books or more.
Also remember that we charge the stated shipping only on the first
copy of each item ordered. Consider ordering a second or third copy
of a particular book to keep as a reference in the car or office.
They will be shipped free of charge!

"Whether you are new to scanning or
an oldtimer, there is a lot of meat here to chew on... The [First Edition] Southern California
Frequency Directory truly picks up where others leave off." --- Larry Van Horn,
Assistant Editor, Monitoring Times Magazine, May 2005 Issue.

"What really sets this frequency book apart
from most others is the narratives, not only on general radio scanning but on
each of the radio systems... This frequency guide goes the extra mile by
including detailed maps and narration by those who monitor these frequencies
both professionally and as a hobby." Read an independent
review of Scannerstuff publications.
"At
the Republic, we use [Scannerstuff books] on a regular basis to
track down an obscure agency. Case in point was during the
prison standoff last spring. Very helpful!" --- Dave
Seibert, staff photographer, Arizona Republic newspaper
"I
still say in over 30 years of playing with radios and
scanners, this is the best frequency guide I have ever seen."
